Tanya has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in many types of exercise ranging from Aqua Fit, Body Conditioning, Spinning, Body Pump and Body Balance. However, her passion lies in Yoga and Pilates, where a holistic approach is applied to exercise, health, and well-being.
Tanya has been a Yoga Practitioner for 16 years and a fully qualified Yoga teacher since 2006 (FRYOG) www.friendsofyoga.co.uk
She gained her mat based Pilates qualification in 2010 (www.cyq.org.uk).
As well as founding and managing the Yoga-Lounge studio, she also teaches classes. She maintains her own Yoga and Pilates practice and attends continuous professional development days (CPD) to enhance her knowledge and teaching skills.

Kate trained at Laine Theatre arts as a professional dancer and ballet teacher.
Since graduating Kate has danced and performed in many shows on tour and in the West End. Highlights include Cats, Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast and Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
She has also taught dance across a range of age groups at Guildford School of Acting and Stagecoach, to name but a few.
Over the last few years Kate has become a fully qualified Pilates instructor, which has enabled her to to further advance her knowledge of exercise, whilst recognising the importance of staying fit and injury free.
Kate’s class are highly motivating and great fun!

Emma trained at the London College of Dance (BA Hons) and was also introduced to Yoga and Pilates.
It was only when injury struck, that her passion and love for both disciplines grew. Finding yoga was like coming home, it held all similar grace, power and strength that she had felt when she danced but without the sense of competitiveness.
Yoga and Pilates have allowed Emma the space to breathe and she hopes that she can encourage others to simply love to move, to love themselves and find love within.

Coming from a holistic background, Sarah understands there is a powerful connection between the mind and body.
Using the power of the breath to slow the mind down, to open the body and to give an overall sense of wellbeing, Sarah teaches a Hatha and Flow style of Yoga that is accessible to all levels of students.
Sarah has been teaching since 2014 after completing her yoga teacher training with The Classic Yoga School and June Mitchell. Her classes are a combination of the various styles of yoga she loves to practice herself.
Sarah teaches with a light hearted approach, that is fun, gentle and challenging and can be adapted for all.
She believes that “You start where you are and the practice will meet you there”.
