Victoria has been practicing Yoga for 22 years and teaching yoga since 2004. She has experience working with all ages and combines hatha and classical yoga in her classes to provide the student with a gentle stretch and strengthen of the entire body. She enjoys enabling all those who attend her classes to feel welcome upon arrival and, at the end of the class, feel taller, feel stress free and leave with the deep desire to practice yoga more often.
After practicing Pilates for many years to help me overcome my own issues I had experienced with a lower back injury. An injury that had caused me considerable pain and lack of mobility, I decided to take the plunge and study to become a Pilates Teacher. I qualified in July of 2020 with a YMCA Level 3 Mat Based Qualification.
I am so pleased that I am now in a position to help others to gain strength, build endurance and improve mobility as well as reducing stress, through the wonderful practice of Pilates.
My classes are based on personal experience and are fun and inclusive.
Coming from a holistic background, Sarah understands there is a powerful connection between the mind and body.
Using the power of the breath to slow the mind down, to open the body and to give an overall sense of wellbeing, Sarah teaches a Hatha and Flow style of Yoga that is accessible to all levels of students.
Sarah has been teaching since 2014 after completing her yoga teacher training with The Classic Yoga School and June Mitchell. Her classes are a combination of the various styles of yoga she loves to practice herself.
Sarah teaches with a light hearted approach, that is fun, gentle and challenging and can be adapted for all.
She believes that “You start where you are and the practice will meet you there”.
Mary assists with the admin & marketing at The Yoga-Lounge, keeping you up to date with all the exciting news and events.
Mary is also an ITEC qualified Massage Therapist and owns her own business M A R A wellbeing. Mary is passionate and committed to Health and Well-being and successfully combines her Therapist work with part administration.
