Covid-19

To ensure our space remains safe, comfortable and healthy and to protect the health and safety of our students and teachers against COVID-19, we have made some changes and politely ask all students to adhere to the requirements below when visiting the studio:

Please:

  • Book your class in advance to ensure you have a space
  • Bring your own yoga/pilates mat and any other required equipment such as blocks, bricks, straps, eye pillows, blankets, Pilates soft ball, resistance band and hand towel
  • Bring your own water bottle
  • Wear a face covering, this is mandatory, and can only be removed once you are on your mat
  • Maintain social distancing from parking your car to entering/leaving the grounds and studio of the Yoga-Lounge
  • Cancel your space within 4 hours if you are not able to attend
  • Do not come if you or anyone in your household are suffering with any COVID-19 related symptoms such as high temperature, a new and/or continuous cough, loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

Upon Arrival:

  • Come ready for class – no changing permitted
  • Wear a face covering and only take off once you are on your mat
  • Only 2 people allowed in the lobby area at one time
  • Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the class start-time (there will be no waiting allowed in the lobby area)
  • Clean your hands with the sanitiser provided directly outside the studio before entering
  • Scan the NHS OCR Code
  • Head straight into the studio with minimal belongings
  • Place your belongings in the basket provided next to your mat
  • Roll your mat into marked spaces and BREATHE!
  • If you need to leave your mat space please place face covering back on

Once Finished:

  • We will ask the back of the room to leave first – 2 people at a time
  • Leave promptly when asked, to allow enough time for the teacher to adequately clean and prepare for the next class

Additional safety measures:

  • Masks are mandatory, and can only be removed once you are on your mat
  • Sanitise/wash hands upon arrival and exit
  • Reducing class capacity (max 12 students per class)
  • Social distance between students on their mat
  • Regular hand washing/hand sanitising (teachers and students)
  • Sanitise hands before and after using the toilet
  • Touch points, surfaces and toilet cleaned between classes
  • Fresh air circulation – studio doors and windows will be kept open
  • Students and teachers to use their own mats
  • Students to bring their own equipment/props etc
  • If adjustments are required, the teacher will wear a face covering on leaving their mat  and will ask consent, sanitising hands before and after
